Strong chance the Treasure Valley wakes up to snow Friday morning

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The National Weather Service in Boise is reporting that there is a strong chance that the treasure Valley will wake up to snow Friday morning.

From Ontario to Twin Falls there is a strong chance of seeing at least a dusting on the ground. Higher elevations are likely to see over an inch, with a strong chance that Bogus Basin will accumulate over 4 inches of snow by Friday morning.

Temperatures in the Treasure Valley are expected to warm slightly this weekend into the low to mid 40s causing the snow to turn to rain. Watch for slick conditions and ice on roadways and plan plenty of extra travel time Friday and throughout the weekend.
