This article contains spoilers for Selling Sunset season 7.
Selling Sunset returned to our screens this Friday 3 November and we may have already binged the entire thing. Oops.
But can you blame us? There were some major plot lines to wrap up from the previous series around Chrishell and Nicole's Feud, Mary seemingly reaching her breaking point, not to mention new drama in the form of an incredibly uncomfortable lunch between Jason Oppenheim's exes and the explosive Bre vs Cassandra interaction at The O Group's new office launch party.
And this is all before we've even got a reunion episode, which is set to drop on Netflix on Thursday 16 November.
But will we be getting a Selling Sunset season 8? Here's everything we know so far.
Has Selling Sunset season 8 been confirmed?
Netflix haven't confirmed Selling Sunset season 8, though given the huge success of previous seasons and its spinoff Selling The OC, we're feeling optimistic.
The streamer originally renewed the series for seasons 6 and 7 at the same time back in June 2022, while Selling the OC was also renewed for two more seasons in January 2023. This all sound very encouraging to us so we remain in hope!

Though Netflix is yet to confirm season 8, if we were to get a new series we'd expect to see appearances from these familiar faces:
- Jason Oppenheim
- Brett Oppenheim
- Mary Fitzgerald
- Chrishell Stause
- Amanza Smith
- Emma Hernan
- Chelsea Lazkani
- Nicole Young
- Bre Tiesi
Who won't return for season 8?
Heather Rae El Moussa was absent from the the promotional poster for season 7 and had a notably reduced role given her maternity leave, so it's TBC whether we'll see her in a potential season 8.
Previously, the new mum had told E! News: “Season seven is filming right now, but I've been off [on] maternity leave and I've been excited to get back to work, and so far I have not been called back. It's been a little frustrating. So [I'm] not sure what's been going on,”
It also seems unlikely that Marie-Lou will be back for further seasons. While the seventh season focused on a lot of the tension between her and Chrishell, Jason actually split from Marie-Lou back in May this year so it wouldn't make much sense for her to feature in a potential eighth series.
What will happen in Selling Sunset season 8?
Needless to say, we can always count on the Selling Sunset agents to show us around some insane real estate and serve up some extra outfits along the way. Though season 7 definitely set us up for a fresh batch of storylines and we need answers.
One of the biggest clashes that we didn't see coming was between Amanza and Chrishell after Emma and Crishell ditched a group dinner in Cabo because Marie-Lou and Nicole would be there.
Given that Mary and Romain had made the effort to travel down just days after Mary had suffered a miscarriage, Amanza called Chrishell out for skipping, leaving her a video message that then led to Chrishell firing Amanza from a job at G-Flip's studio.
Despite various attempts to reconcile things, their relationship remained strained through season 7, but we're missing the days of this dynamic duo so are really hoping they can still smooth things over.
Season 7 also saw the continued tension between Bre, Chelsea and Cassandra reach an unexpected climax after Bre seemingly reached her breaking point with the pair and left The O Group's launch party in frustration.
It feels like things between the three are well beyond repair, but what does this mean for Bre's future with the brokerage?
A key focus of the most recent season was also around the expansion of The Oppenheim Group to Cabo, which could make for a suitably glamorous backdrop for a new series.
Is there a trailer for Selling Sunset season 8?
Given that we're still waiting on an announcement of Selling Sunset being renewed, we're yet to have a season 8 trailer and it will likely be a little while before we get one.
In the meantime, catch up on the season 7 trailer below.
