Match called off
So, the match gets called off and it's another no-result in the ODI series. India have lost their second consecutive ODI series in New Zealand and it's their first 50-over series loss under Shikhar Dhawan. India were outplayed today. The pitch assisted the bowlers in the first innings but the Kiwi bowlers bowled well. The Men in Blue managed only 219 in the first innings as Shreyas Iyer and Washington Sundar played well. But apart from that, it was a bowler's show in the first innings. The Kiwis were good with the bat too as Allen smashed a fifty and Conway contributed well. After 18 overs, the match ended with no result. So that's the wrap from this one. We will next meet when India travels to Bangladesh for an ODI and a Test series. Hope to see more action there.
