OLA, Idaho (CBS2) — On Saturday, fire crews made significant progress to contain the Goldrun fire. The fire was human-caused and started on July 18. It has burned 806 acres.
The Idaho Department of Lands says the Goldrun fire is now 65% contained as of Sunday morning.
Crews continue to strengthen firelines and mop up hot spots by taking care of down logs, snags and stump holes smoldering near the fire's edge.
