A fire broke out at a church in Massachusetts on Friday.
The Spencer Police Department shared images of the scene, with photos showing smoke pouring from the First Congregational Church of Spencer, United Church of Christ.
Please avoid the area and expect detours," police noted on Facebook.
Videos shared on Twitter showed the steeple collapsing and the sanctuary engulfed in flames.
The Massachusetts Department of Fire Services also shared photos of the scene and described the blaze as a five-alarm fire.
The cause of the fire wasn't immediately known, but thunderstorms were reported in the area.
It wasn't clear if anyone was hurt.
Spencer is west of Worcester on Route 9.
