BOISE, Idaho — Oregon State Police (OSP) reports a car accident Thursday morning that killed five people when two cars collided.
According to OSP, a minivan traveling eastbound on Hwy 20 west of Vale, driven by 62-year-old Lance Lightfoot of Meridian, crossed over the line and collided with a sedan driven by 27-year-old Cecilia Loma of Carson, California. Lightfoot and Loma both died at the scene, as did three passengers in Loma's car, including an 8-month-old girl.
The highway was closed for about 4 hours during the investigation, according to OSP.
