Boise State Broncos to meet UNLV Rebels in Mountain West Championship showdown

Boise, ID (CBS2) — The Boise State Broncos will be facing off against UNLV in the Mountain West Championship.

The Broncos and Rebels will face off on Dec. 2 at Allegent Stadium in Las Vegas.

This is the first time since 2019 that the two teams will match up.

This is the seventh trip to the Mountain West Championships for the Broncos, the most for any school in the conference. This will be the Rebel's first Mountain West Championship game.

Interim head coach Spencer Danielson is only the second interim head coach in history to take over mid-season and lead their team to a league championship. The only other person to do it was Clay Helton with Southern Cal in 2015.
