Nampa, ID (CBS2) — ~Missing woman rescued ~
According to the Canyon County Sheriff's Office (CCSO), emergency crews were able to rescue 72-year-old Penny Kay Clark of Nampa after two men called dispatch when they located a vehicle that matched that of Clark's.
The CCSO deputies were able to locate Clark and her vehicle a short time later about 200 yards down the canyon wall near Map Rock Road and Rim Road near Melba.
Multiple agencies responded to assist in the rescue of Clark and around 1 p.m. Idaho Search and Rescue was able to reach, stabilize, and carry her out to meet medics from Air St Luke's and Canyon County Paramedics on Map Rock Road.
Clark was transferred to a local hospital by Air St. Luke's after receiving initial medical care on scene.
“This is frankly one of the most miraculous incidents that I can recall in all my years in law enforcement, and it’s a true testament to the strength and fortitude of Penny Clark,” said Canyon County Sheriff Kieran Donahue. “The medics who evaluated her on scene believe that she had been there for at least a couple of days, and more than likely since Tuesday when her family last had contact with her. It’s truly a miracle, and I’m hopeful that she makes a full recovery. I want to thank all of the agencies who assisted us today, particularly Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue, for their efforts in bringing Ms. Clark to safety. I’d also like to sincerely thank the two men who came upon the vehicle and had the wherewithal to determine that it was likely connected to the missing person reported by Nampa PD. This was a true team effort.”
Clark is currently with family and is being treated for her injuries. Her family is asking for privacy at this time.

Nampa Police are asking for the public's help locating a missing woman.
Nampa Police say that 72-year-old Penny Kay Clark of Nampa went missing on Tuesday afternoon.
Her family says she ran errands in Nampa but could have traveled as far as Melba or Kuna.
She is 5' 5" tall and 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She is wearing glasses and was last seen wearing a teal hat, gray windbreaker, gray pants, and black shoes.
Penny was last seen driving her Silver 2021 Chevy Equinox with Idaho license plate 2C AE087.
